Spa Experience: Immersing myself in the Schachen Bad & SPA felt as refreshing as a dip in the crystal clear waters of Lake Constance. The extensive range of treatments left me feeling like a pampered celebrity, with the full-body massage activating my lymphatic flow and the soothing herbal stamp massage providing pleasant and relaxing sensations. It was a truly revitalizing experience that allowed me to forget everyday life and embrace a fresh new body feeling.
English History and Cat Policy: Lunch staff could be.

Location.
1) Parking. When I pay upwards of 400 euros a night, I do not expect to pay another 7 euros for parking per night! This is outrageous! 2) Clothes ironing - They have no irons in the room as they say that it is a fire hazard! So I had to pay another 46 euros to have two shirts a trouser and one dress ironed by them! Have they not heard of auto-shut-off irons? They are in Germany for god's sake! What a rip-off! 3) Orange juice - I got my 3 yr old daugher an orange juice from the bar and I was wondering why she would not drink more than a few sips until my wife tasted it and found that it was stale and smelt horrible! They still charged me the 7 euros for that glass of orange juice! 4) Bad attitude of the director - My wife had a massage at the Spa for which we paid in advance. As a return favour, my wife booked a massage for me later that day but i could not go as we were stuck in Lindau. The hotel director then rang me and was being rather obnoxious on the phone demanding that I pay for it as I did not turn up. She insisted that my wife (who does not speak or read any german) was given instructions in german to pay if I did not show up and then she hung up on me. This is outrageous behaviour towards a customer who just spent over 900 euros over 2 days AND left a tip of 50 euros as well!

The stuff was very kind and helpfull. Everyone speaks a very good english. The Hotel has a wonderful location with a breathtaking view of the Bodensee. They serve the meals in a beatiful room otherwise you can have them in the garden on the lake shore. It's beautiful and romantic, the inside pool is perfect, we didn't go to the outside one but seemed to me cool too. This Hotel deserve one more star.

Absolutely stunning views and surrounding location. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The swimming and spa facilities were outstanding.
I thought the food was very average and not much in the way of snack, there were some sandwiches but they were very plain and extremely expensive. I thought generally the food and bar prices were very pricey which showed by the lack of customers in the main bar.

We loved the location, right on the lake, giving us the safe feeling of being in the middle of a splendid park. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of options to choose from. The hotel facilities were also great, including the indoor and outdoor pools. Lastly, the staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay even better.
Nothing was amiss, everything was perfect.

Although the room we stayed in was a little dated the little extras make up for this. The slippers and robe, the basket to take your towells down to the pool, we were on our honeymoon and greeted by champaign and chocolate cake. Get a balcony room, lakeside, the view is spectacular. The cleaning staff are super friendly and do an amazing job.
Dated room, would expext more for my money. The bathroom was laid out badly and somewhat cramped, was expecting a little more luxorious

Kindness and help of front desk persons.
Room 101 was noisy, could hear everything from adjoining room, even person going to the water closet. Anoying at the least. Could not get into the casual dining/brauhaus because I did not have a reservation; restaurant attendant was not very cordial; appeared overworked and stressed; not what would be expected from a fine Hotel.

I recently stayed at a stunning hotel on Lake Constance for a few days. The facilities, especially the indoor pool, were enjoyable and well-maintained. The cleanliness of the hotel was impressive, and they also provided extra perks such as free bus tickets and assistance with planning activities. The breakfast selection was great, with a wide variety of options. The location, right by the lake, was perfect for walks and enjoying the surrounding greenspace. The highlight of my stay was the double room with a terrace facing the lake, offering an exceptional view. The comfortable beds ensured a good night's sleep.
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

Very good location in the first line of the lake Constance. The garden of the hotel, simplement a marvel. Very good breakfast
The personnel of the hotel was very arrogant and slightly friendly. Facilities need to be updated and bathroom was a joke: impossible to be two people at the same time.

Great location with a beautiful view of the lake. Friendly and attentive staff. Privately owned hotel with a cozy atmosphere. Delicious breakfast on the patio overlooking the lake. High but unobtrusive and efficient security measures. Easy access to the spa and pool area. Limited breakfast options, but everything is of high quality
